Welcome to the best of #SummerFilmParty August 2017, as selected by the #SummerFilmParty panel. For the third and final time this year I would like to thank them all for their efforts here, as well as all of the behind the scenes work manning Twitter’s @SummerFilmParty.
The 204 qualifying entries posted by you against the five Summer Film Party categories during the week of August 21st to 27th 2017 have been collected and shortlisted below. The categories were:

  • #Landscape
    Nature or urban scenes, it’s up to you
  • #Streetlife
    It’s up to you to include people and or architecture
  • #Abstract / #FunkyAF
    No poultry unless absolutely necessary
  • #Home
    Shooting indoors or gearing up for a Kitchen Battle, this is for you
  • #Macro / #CloseUp
    Anything as close as your lens will allow

 
Being the final month of the event, the quality of entries was high to say the least. There was so much creativity being expressed, from SUPER slow sub-1 ISO film to infrared stocks and large format…oh, and a LOT of slide film.
