Merry Christmas! Hope you’re having a great day so far. It is with a heavy heart I bring to you the first of this years top-ten-as-chosen-by-you-listicles. Regular readers will know I’m not a huge fan of them but as the year draws near, I feel the need to recharge and although these take a fair amount of time to put together in their own right, they’re a damned sight quicker than editing and scheduling “normal” content.
This year’s listicles kick off with a look back at the most popular 5 Frames With articles, as decided by readers of EMULSIVE. If you don’t know what they are, think of them a quick film/camera/process reviews. Five photos with a specific film/camera/lens combination and limited to about 350 words.

As annoying as these listicles may be, try to think about them the way I do: every single article here is the result of hours, days, weeks or – in the case of the other listicles you’ll see here over the coming days – months of effort on behalf of the person who contributed it. That effort and the result is worth celebrating in my opinion.
