I suspect it’s a common dilemma, you’ve booked a holiday with your partner (and or family/friends) and there’s no doubt the destination was influenced by potential photographic opportunities. How on earth are you going to balance wanting to take lots of photos with what other people want to do?!
Traditional photographic processes require forethought, preparation and involvement on the part of the photographer. To demonstrate this, I made crumpets from scratch and then made cyanotypes using them. Because, obviously.
This isn’t so much of a review, more of a first-impressions-comparison. My experience with different 4×5, large format cameras is minimal, having bought an MPP Mark VIII a few years back and stuck with it.
