David Henderson
I started taking photographs in 1978, using a Kodak Instamatic. Progressing to a new Kiev 4a in 1981. I soon found that I spent more and more time taking photographs; I find it helps me relax. I don’t see myself as an artist, just a recorder of scenes which appeal to me. I try to make my shots as good as possible. I’m mostly known for my railway photography, although I do find myself drawn to all kinds of things these days. Using older cameras, from the 1950s and earlier, is something I find very rewarding (when they work properly), but I do have a fondness for the Minolta Dynax system!
