The road to this photo book wasn’t paved in roses exactly – more like sea salt!

Author Archives: Daphne Schnitzer
Daphne Schnitzer is an ex-lecturer in modern Literature, a Sumi-e lover and an enthusiastic, some would say obsessive, pinhole photographer whose path always seem to lead to a harbor to shoot seascapes from, be it in Israel or in France (so far). She uses various pinhole cameras, sporting either pins or zone plates, in both medium and large format, but is especially partial to 6x6 images captured on Kodak Portra 400 or Ektar 100 film.
