Looking for a review of an AGFA camera? We’ve got you covered: read every EMULSIVE Agfa camera review right here. AGFA is an abbreviation “Aktien-Gesellschaft für Anilin-Fabrikation”? The company was founded in Berlin, Germany in 1867.

Initially producing chemicals, AGFA released its first film camera in 1926 following the acquisition of Rietzschel camera works in 1925. The last true Agfa cameras were made in the 1980s, after which, all Agfa cameras were made by OEM vendors.

Most of my photo output is from digital cameras, although I have an abiding love for film. I recently bought some 35mm and medium format cameras online.

Camera review: Agfa Selectronic 3

Avatar - Mark Brownby Mark BrownJune 5, 2017March 23, 2020

What you see below is my Agfa Selectronic 3, the camera I’m reviewing today. It’s a Pentax K-mount SLR released in 1980 and produced for only a few short years until around 1983.
