Author Archives: María Ochoa

María Ochoa is a writer whose work in photography provides her with visual narratives that frequently say more than the words she pens. While all of her previously published books have included visual art of a wide range, her more recent publications emphasize photographic images. She shoots analog and digital, but prefers the slower, frequently more thoughtful elements required in analog photography. María earned a doctorate in History of Consciousness at University of California, Santa Cruz, and spent decades teaching in academia.
