Gen X'er compensating for childhood privation by buying all the film cameras I couldn't afford when I was a kid - now that they're at charity shops and thrift stores. But what's a camera on the shelf if it's not shot with beautiful film? Living in the desert, dreaming of London, shooting when I can. I love to take formal portraits that evoke an era long before I was born, but I also enjoy getting out to take photographs of the prosaic and commonplace and try to find beauty in the things and places other folks just pass by without paying much attention.
