I’ve been an avid photographer for most of my life, starting out with a Yashica Mat 124G as a teenager, moving to digital in the early 2000s, and re-discovering film a year ago. I love to shoot anything and everything, but landscape photography is what gets me out of my chair and into the natural world. The return to film has made me have to work harder sometimes, but it also rewards me with something physical that I can say I made, and that is something I felt was lacking with my digital work. I’m a full-time engineer by day, but photography is my full-time obsession, and the only thing I do that I don’t grow tired of. I hope to continue to learn and expand my film photography in the years to come, and also to share that experience with others through writing.
