Marcus Grandon

I’m Marcus Grandon, a photographer based in Shizuoka City, Japan. I research the effects of imagery on the language learning process. My photography focuses on architecture and travel with a preference placed on use of available light. I’m also an avid shooter of Mt Fuji. In addition, I run Grand Marquee Productions, a multimedia company that does commercial work using both video and still images. In 2018, I co-founded Imagikon, a photography group in Japan. I’d be happy to keep you posted as we grow and mature.

My return to film: Marcus Grandon

The last time I shot film was somewhere around 2002, and I certainly hadn’t purchased a film camera this century. That all changed when I picked up a used Nikon FE in Ginza, Tokyo a few weeks ago.
