Please read this Terms of Use carefully before you start to use services provided by EMULSIVE on this website and elsewhere on the web (known as “EMULSIVE” from here on in).
First, let’s get the super important and scarily-written ALL CAPS text out of the way:
BY ACCESSING, BROWSING OR USING EMULSIVE (WHICH INCLUDES THE INFORMATION YOU SUBMIT AS SEARCHES, COMMENTS, ARTICLES FOR SUBMISSION, ETC.), YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOU HAVE READ, UNDERSTOOD, AND AGREED TO BE BOUND BY THESE TERMS OF USE, INCLUDING THE PRIVACY POLICY AND COMMUNITY GUIDELINES. YOU ALSO AGREE TO COMPLY WITH ALL APPLICABLE LAWS AND REGULATIONS.
It should be noted that these terms, when combined with the act of using EMULSIVE, have the same legal force and effect as a written contract with your written signature. You agree that you shall not challenge the validity, enforceability, or admissibility of this Terms of Use on the grounds that it was electronically transmitted or authorized (thank you).
It should also be noted that EMULSIVE is typically a family-friendly space but the content and services offered and available should be considered apt for an audience over the age of 13. There may be a few rude words and adult concepts/imagery here. All content with adult imagery is tagged as “NSFW”.
Purpose
The articles, guides, photography and other content shared on EMULSIVE is intended solely for personal, non-commercial use by the users of EMULSIVE and may not be used except as permitted in this Terms of Use, or through direct expressed consent.
The information presented on EMULSIVE is made available solely for general information purposes and you should be aware that this information is not necessarily complete or up-to-date (back-breaking efforts are made to ensure it is but success isn’t always guaranteed).
With this in mind, please be aware that any of the information on the EMULSIVE may be out of date and EMULSIVE is under no obligation to update it.
Sharing content
You may freely share content from EMULSIVE through the use of the social media links provided on EMULSIVE, via email, or elsewhere. The more the merrier, in fact.
You may download or copy EMULSIVE content and other downloadable materials displayed on EMULSIVE for your personal use only.
When you download or copy content no rights, titles or interests are transferred to you. That would be silly.
Also, except as noted above, you may not:
…reproduce, republish, publish, upload, post, transmit, physically, electronically, biologically or psychic-ly distribute, publicly display, modify, create-derivative-works-from, sell or participate in any sale of, or exploit in any way, in whole or in part…any of the content, additional services, or any related files without the prior written consent of EMULSIVE (for first-party content), or the copyright owner (for third-party content). Phew.
Being completely frank, nothing contained here or in the services offered by EMULSIVE grants or should be considered as granting any license or right to use (implied or otherwise), any trademarks, trade names, service marks, trade dress, copyrighted or other proprietary material displayed on EMULSIVE without the prior written consent of the owner of the content as described below!
Essentially, all rights not expressly granted here to you are reserved by EMULSIVE and/or creators of third-party content which appears on EMULSIVE. All trade names, product names, logos, etc., shown on EMULSIVE are the trademarks or registered trademarks of their respective owners.

Ownership of content
Content provided EMULSIVE (text, illustrations, images, videos, information obtained from vendors, etc.), is for informational purposes and should be used at your own risk. EMULSIVE cannot take any responsibility for damages caused by using development times, alternative development practices and the like.
Unless otherwise noted, all content provided on EMULSIVE is owned, controlled, licensed, appropriately credited and linked, or used with permission. The creative work provided on EMULSIVE encompasses “first-party” and “third-party” content as follows:
First-party
This relates to content created by EMULSIVE: the EMULSIVE logo (logo mark and logotype), website theme, illustrations, photography and written content.
Third-party
Reader-submitted content such as articles, photography and illustrations.
Both first and third-party content is protected by copyright, trademark, trade dress and other such laws with worldwide right, title and interest. Overall ownership/protection of this content falls to the creator, with some exceptions.
For example:
- An article or image(s) created by EMULSIVE (first-party content), is deemed to be the property of EMULSIVE.
- An article or image(s) created by a contributing author (third-party content), is deemed to be the property of that author and used with permission.
If the works described above contain content from an external source (such as informational or promotional material provided by a vendor/manufacturer/agent), that content remains the property of that individual/organisation.
EMULSIVE makes every attempt to ensure that images and other content used in both first- and third-party content that is not owned by the creator is appropriately credited and linked back to the source.
In short: if you made it, the copyright belongs to you.
Using EMULSIVE
By visiting and using EMULSIVE, you agree to use it for lawful purposes only, and only for your own personal, non-commercial use.
You may not use the EMULSIVE to transmit, post, download, distribute, copy, display publicly, store or destroy material:
…in violation of any applicable law or regulation
…in a manner that will infringe the copyright, patent, trademark, trade secret or other intellectual property rights of others or violate the privacy or publicity or other personal rights of others, or
…that is libellous, obscene, offensive, threatening, defamatory, abusive or hateful.
EMULSIVE retains absolute discretion to determine if any use violates these rules and the right to act the event of any violation is also reserved.
Violations of system or network security may result in civil or criminal liability. Occurrences of violations may involve cooperate with, and make disclosures to, law enforcement authorities in identifying and prosecuting individuals, groups and organisations who are involved in such violations.
You are prohibited from violating or attempting to violate security measures on EMULSIVE. This includes but is not limited to the following list of naughty things:
- Using a false password or one belonging to another user.
- Accessing an account or data not intended for your user account, or logging into a server or account which you are not authorized to access.
- Disclosing a password to a third-party, permitting someone else to use your password, or failing to tell us if a password is compromised.
- Attempting to probe, scan or test the vulnerability of the system or network, or to breach security or authentication measures without proper authorisation from EMULSIVE.
- Attempting to interfere with service to any user, host or network, including without limitation, the use of means to overload the service.
- Sending unsolicited e-mail (commercial or personal), including unauthorised promotions and/or advertising of products or services.
- Forging any network traffic of the website, associated services or email.
- Hijacking all or any part of the EMULSIVE network or content, which includes:
- deleting or changing content, deploying pop-up messages or adverts, running or displaying EMULSIVE or any EMULSIVE content in frames (similar means) on another website.
Adverts and links to external websites
EMULSIVE does not recommend and does not endorse the content on any third-party websites unless explicitly stated in advance. In addition, EMULSIVE is not responsible for the content of linked content on third-party sites, advertisements, applications or other content.
EMULSIVE does not make any representations regarding third-party content or accuracy. Your use of third-party websites is at your own risk and subject to the terms of use for such sites.
If you see an advert or link you believe should not be appearing on EMULSIVE email abuse@emulsive.org, making sure to include a screenshot of the content in question and if possible a link to the content.
Indemnity
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold EMULSIVE, its officers, directors, employees, agents, licensors, and suppliers, harmless from and against any claims, actions or demands, liabilities and settlements including without limitation, reasonable legal and accounting fees, resulting from, or alleged to result from, your violation of these Terms of Use.

Your privacy
All information collected by EMULSIVE is subject to this Privacy Policy.
Changes to this policy
This policy will be updated periodically to reflect the way your information is collected and handled, or when new services/partners are used who make use of it. Updates will be sent out to readers who have a newsletter subscription, and they will also be reflected on this page.
