When Adox photo released their new film Color Mission, I knew I had to test it out. I purchased two rolls and received them just in time for St. Patrick’s Day in Dublin!

I arrived early to find a good spot because my goal was to have enough crowd around me to capture the people cheering.

I loaded the first roll in my camera, and started shooting. I was really going into this blindly, as I never tried this film before and I haven’t had the chance to see someone else’s work made with this film. Thankfully I know my camera pretty well so I think that helped a lot.

The weather was difficult too as it had some bits of sun and then it would get cloudy again.

Overall, I would say the results turned out great, I am very pleased with the photos. However, on some frames the highlights are blown out. I did use a light meter that day when the sun was making an appearance so that it would be more accurate.
I guess that is the challenge with a day like this one where you have to think fast and constantly adapt for the changing light.

I would highly recommend Color Mission, in the hopes that Adox make some new batch soon, or maybe a completely new color film?
