Film culture: TRAPPED. On Film
Spend any appreciable amount of time talking about film photography on Twitter and sooner or later you’ll come into contact with AndaM, AKA @BeRadiant.
Now it seems that Anda’s finally gotten around to putting on her first solo exhibition and if you find yourself in London, Ontario, we really think you should head on over and check it out.
TRAPPED. On Film explores the intimate relationship between light and film, and the ‘trapping’ of light by film. It started on February 23rd 2016 and spreads over 2 weeks until March 5th.
Anda’s participated in group exhibitions until now – bits and pieces everywhere – but late fall last year, she decided it was time to gather some photographs together and present them as her solo art show.
You can see the other images featured in Anda’s TRAPPED. On Film over at The Arts Project, 203 Dundas Street, London, Ontario 519.642.2767. It’s open Tuesday to Saturday, Noon until 5:00pm and you can learn more at artsproject.ca/gallery/trapped-on-film.
If you are planning, shooting or otherwise putting together your own film photography exhibition, or assisting someone who is, we’d love to hear from you and feature your work here on EMULSIVE. By the same measure, we’d love to talk about your film photography related projects, business, activity, or events and help spread the word.
Please let us know in the comments below, or drop us a line using our contact page. Looking forward to hearing from you.
